First the U.S. news media reported a mile-long oil sheen, and now they're saying there is no sheen. This is what drives me up a wall about the news media! After a crisis, all sorts of contradictory information is flying around, and it usually takes several days for the smoke to clear.
Okay ... Having gotten that out of my system, I'm relieved that the rig was safely evacuated. I still worry about what, if any environmental impact this explosion could still have.
