Time To Do The Hop!
Another week, another Book Blogger Hop hosted by Jennifer at Crazy-For-Books.
The questions this week: Do you judge a book by its cover? My answer: well, yes and no. If I’m browsing in a bookstore or online, then an interesting cover will definitely catch my attention. Will I buy the book because of the cover? No. I always read the synopsis first and often the first page or two. If I see a book by an author I’ve already read, I’ll pick it up even if it has a terrible cover. I think, however, if you want to get new readers, an enticing cover is important.
Thanks for stopping by. Please leave a comment below and I’ll return the visit.

Hi :) I'm the same. Where the cover might be what causes me to pick the book up, it's the blurb that determines whether I buy it. Hope you enjoy your weekend !!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Hop
here from the hop. . . you're both much smarter than me! but I've been trying to get better. recently I read two incredible books that both had cheesy titles and cheesy cover art. That'll teach me, they were 2 of the best books I've read this year!
ReplyDeleteFound you through the hop, now following!
ReplyDeleteVisiting from the HOP! Sounds like my tactic with covers.
ReplyDeleteI hope you will have time to visit one or both of my blogs: LibrarysCat and Never Forget!
Have a great weekend!
I confess that book covers do have a certain appeal, but it's the synopsis that makes or breaks my decision to purchase it.
ReplyDeleteI recall one book whose cover pulled me in immediately: Varjak Paw. I purchased it on a whim after seeing the lovely cover, and it was a great investment!
