Who Do I Choose?
I'm still trying to decide about what to use to replace Google Reader. Right now, I keep going back and forth between Feedly and Pulse. I've eliminated Bloglovin' from the contest. It looks a lot like Google Reader, but I was thinking, if it's time for a change, why stay the same? Though, I've seen a few of the blogs I follow decide on Bloglovin'... Both Feedly and Pulse have mobile apps... I suppose I could just try each out and then decide after a couple days of playing with it. What do you think? Feedly or Pulse?

Interested to see what you go with. I'm thinking I'll probably go with bloglovin'. I keep hearing great things about Feedly but I'd rather something browser based, since I tend to work on a bunch of different computers and can't d/l the program to all of them.
ReplyDeleteHmm... I actually didn't think of a browser based program versus non-browser. I'd only have to download it to two computers and the mobile app, so not that much... I've been hearing good things about Feedly too.
DeleteFunny because I like bloglovin' BECAUSE it looks alot like Google Reader. I've looked as several and don't want to have to download anything. Another reason I lke bloglovin' is that I can have a follow me on bloglovin' button on the blog...I think that it pretty cool. I like the Google Reader app on my phone but I just look at bloglovin' in the browser on my phone instead. Can't wait to hear what you decide on!
ReplyDeleteI found out that Feedly actually has a display option that makes it look like Google Reader. I really like the Feedly app too.
DeleteI've never used Google Reader or any such services. Barely even understand what it's all about. This, despite being a blogger for some near 8 years. I follow some blogs regularly, but never bothered investigated what reader was. Now, seeing how upset people have been about Google Reader, I guess I missed out. What is/was the point before I see what everyone switches to? Maybe then, if I can figure out how to do it, I'll finally jump on board.
ReplyDeleteI liked Reader because it collected all the blogs, news sites, whatever, I followed all in one place. It was mostly a convenience. Using Google Reader was easy too if you already had Gmail or Blogger accounts. I think people are mostly upset because of the shock. Really though, there are lots of of other options for people who use RSS feeds.
