Basically, though he still has writers working for him, there are writers, agents and others in the publishing industry who think what he's doing is wrong. He's comparing himself to Andy Warhol. He seems to have delusions of grandeur. What do you think?
At the very least it sounds morally dubious. But it's no different to the contracts offered to contestants on the X Factor/American Idol and for the same reason - people are desperate to achieve both things.
ReplyDeleteThe idea of a fiction factory doesn't bother me. We have Mills and Boon romances here and whilst they aren't my thing, there's a large market for it.
